Q3. What credentials do I need to study for a London Centre of Marketing Professional Qualification?

Minimum entry requirements are 5 GCSE O Level Passes (or high school graduation equivalent), with demonstrated proficiency in English. Applicants / Mature Students (aged 21 years or above) with relevant working experience will also be considered for eligibility.

London Centre of Marketing Professional Qualifications are specifically designed for:
- High School leavers wishing to embark on a successful career in Marketing,
- Personnel employed in Marketing departments, wishing to obtain British-based Professional Qualifications to support their knowledge in the Marketing discipline,
- Individuals wishing to pursue higher levels of learning in the field of Marketing, whilst enhancing their current knowledge-base,
- Undergraduate Bachelor Degree holders in other disciplines wishing to broaden their employment opportunities and start a successful career in Marketing.
- Q5. Are exemptions available for students with supporting certification or work experience?
Yes. Each application will be considered on the basis of individual merit. Students who deem their qualifications worthy of consideration for exemption must complete an Exemption Form and forward the same to London Centre of Marketing's Professional Standards Committee. Please note that the decision of the Professional Standards Committee is final.
- Q6. Am I allowed to defer an exam session if I cannot attend the examination for which I am registered?
Yes. Notice of intention to defer the exam (stating the given examination date you will be absent and the intended session you wish you register for instead) must be provided at least 15 days in advance of the commencement of the examination. An Application to Defer will only be accepted with good reason and will be subject to the provision of documentary evidence to support the claim. Students who fail to provide adequate notice of the intention to defer will have to resit the exam at the prescribed fee.
- Q7. What are the Examination Fees?
London Centre of Marketing is a non-profit making organisation. Basic costs are borne by the Examining Body, with the emphasis being placed on the maintenance and assurance of high quality academic standards. As a result, Qualifications in Marketing are available at a cost effective rate of GBP£20.00 (Pounds Sterling twenty only) per module. Each level (Level 1 - Diploma in Sales & Marketing; Level 2 - Higher Diploma in Sales & Marketing; Level 3 - Professional Diploma in Sales & Marketing Management; Level 4 - Advanced Diploma in Marketing
Management) has 4 modules to complete.
Q8. What Documentation will I be granted?

Upon registration, eligible students will be furnished with the following materials:
- London Centre of Marketing Student Registration Folder
- Personalised Student Membership Card
A Certificate or Diploma will be awarded to students who have successfully completed any of the four levels of London Centre of Marketing Professional Qualifications.
Q9. Are additional copies of transcripts or certificates available?

Yes, additional copies of transcripts are available at a prescribed fee. Please contact the Chief Examination Officer for the same. Unfortunately, copies of original certificates are not issued, due to document security considerations.
Q10. How do I access London Centre of Marketing Qualifications?

London Centre of Marketing Professional Qualifications are available to students through the following routes:
- Employers
- Educational Institutions accredited by London Centre of Marketing
- London Centre of Marketing's Executive Distance Learning Programme
- Q11. How do I register as a London Centre of Marketing Examination Candidate?
You may enrol at any London Centre of Marketing Accredited Centre, where you will conduct your training and ultimately sit for your chosen examination. Your accredited centre will guide you through the registration procedure and answer your queries on protocol for the conduct of examinations, release of results and issuance of certification. Upon successful completion of the examination, you will receive your examination transcripts and certification through your accredited centre.
- Q12. When are examination results released?
Examination scripts take approximately four weeks to be processed. The results will be sent directly to your accredited centre. Please do not contact London Centre of Marketing as results will not be sent individually to candidates: all examination queries should be referred to your accredited centre.
Q13. How often are London Centre of Marketing examinations conducted for each module?

Examinations are held quarterly: March, June, September and December.
